7/21/18 - Yellowstone National Park, WY

It was 42 degrees here this morning.  Today we left camp at 6 am and drove to Yellowstone National Park.  We arrived at Grant Visitor center at 7:50 am. They open at 8 am. We drove the south loop of the park today and it took 8 hours and 20 minutes.   There were massive crowds but we managed to find parking spots at all the major sights we wanted to see.  We started with Old Faithful at its 10:03 A.M. eruption. The weather was cloudy and chilly with occasional rain but it cleared up later.  We returned to camp at 7:45 pm.  It was a long day -- thank goodness for leftovers.  Jim made a fire and we ate supper outside.
