8/24/18 - Sisters, OR

This campground is booked up for the weekend for hookup sites.  We had to move to another site this morning with no hookups.  Then we went into the Deschutes National Forest and took the Whychus Creek Loop hike to a view point to see the Three Sisters.  Then we continued down the highway to the end of the road and Three Creeks Lake. We had a picnic there.  We drove around to look at the forest service campgrounds. 

We took a walk into downtown before the sunset.  This little town reminds me of Fredericksburg with a lot of little shops, restaurants and bars.  Also, a lot of tourists.  After dinner we played Phase 10 and Jim updated the blog.  We don’t have hookups tonight so we cant turn on the TV for entertainment.
