7/16/18 - Longmont, CO

We went out to breakfast this morning to a place like House of Pies in Houston.  Then we went to Starbucks and used their internet to update the blog. (Thanks, Maria, for the Starbucks gift card!)  Last time we were here, we walked on the St. Vrain Greenway Trail a number of times.  On this trip we had not been walked on it.  So, after noon, we walked to Left Hand Brewing on it.  From there we walked to 300 Suns Brewing.  On the way we passed Brews and Shoes but we didn’t stop there this time.  Walking back to the Casita we passed an Osprey nest on a platform in the park.  There is a live camera showing what the Ospreys are doing here.  After we got back to camp we drove to The Pose Brewery.  This brewery is also a Diners, Drive-ins and Dives place.  They specialize in fried chicken.  Jim had ½ a bird and I had a fried chicken sandwich.
