8/13/18 - Eugene, OR

Jim updated the blog then we left camp and headed to Eugene.  The roads up here don’t take the most direct way to get on a freeway.  The roads run you over, around and in circles to get you anywhere.  Jim said his mother would have said "they run you around Robin Hood's barn".  We got to the campground at noon and check in is at 2 pm.  We went to Costco to waste some time.  Jim got us some coffee and a rotisserie chicken.  We sat in the parking lot and had a snack and played Phase 10.  After setting up, we went to Ninkasi Brewing.  Tonight we had reservations for a beer dinner at BJ’s Restaurant and Brewery.  We usually go to these in Sugar Land.  We had a six course meal and a Rogue beer with each one.  It is always more than we can eat.  We brought a lot of it back with us.
