8/12/18 - Corvallis, OR

After breakfast we went back to Bald Hill.  It is sunny today and the hike was great.  The uphill hike makes my knees hurt.  But going down hill is great.  At the top you could see a long way.  We picked blackberries and ate them.  We don’t have room for any more in the small Casita fridge.  After the hike we went back to the KOA and washed clothes.  Then in the evening we went to Mazama Brewing and 2 Towns Cider next door.  I wanted to go to 4 Spirits Distillery.  Jim doesn’t’ drink hard liquor and Block 15 had it’s brewery and tap room next door.  I had a silver rum and a bourbon whiskey.  Jim had an IPA at Block 15 and then I joined him there.  4 Spirits is a veteran owned distillery that is a tribute to the owner’s 4 friends who died in Iraq.  When we got back to the Casita, I fixed the chard from the farmers market and had leftover green chili chicken enchiladas.
