8/16/18 - Bend, OR

We left Eugene today and drove to Bend.  This morning the jack stand on the trailer would barely work.  The nut and bolt were broken.  As we were entering Bend, Jim noticed a trailer business.  He pulled in and had the jack stand replaced.  It is so much easier to put up and down now. After getting our spot to camp we went to the Bend Brew Fest.  There was a couple of light rain showers but the festival has a lot of tents so everyone could get out of the rain.  As we were walking back to the truck we went by Deschutes Brewing.  They were having a post-fun run party and were giving away pints of their Twilight Summer Ale.  Even though we didn’t participate in the fun run they invited us in and gave us free beers.  For supper we had Wendy's chicken sandwiches and fries.  The Wendy's is next door to the RV park and only takes 30 seconds to walk there.
