8/17/18 - Bend, OR

Last night was very noisy.  The road by us is being repaved.  There was lots of heavy machine noise and beeping.  Closing the window by my head and turning on the overhead attic fan helped.  I was finally able to sleep better.  We went to the Original Pancake House for breakfast.  Then we drove to Smith Rock State Park.  (We used the state park pass that I won.)  A friend (Nena) told us this was a really scenic place to visit.  It is a major rock climbing destination.  After leaving Smith Rock we went to the National Forest Service Headquarters to pick up information for the forest service campgrounds near us.  Then we went to Deschutes Brewery tasting room, Ale Apothecary, Good Life Brewing, Immersion Brewing and Crux Fermentation Project.
