9/23/18 - Tillamook, OR

We left Hammond today and drove highway 101 on the coast to Tillamook.  Before leaving we made a stop at Fred Meyer for a few groceries.  We got a site at the Tillamook Airport RV Park.  There is a huge wooden hanger at the airport that is now an aviation museum.  It was used for storing blimps in World War II.  After unhooking, we went to town and had a beer at de Garde Brewing and then across the street to Pelican Brewing.  We drove to the post office to send a birthday card to my two girlfriends who have a birthday on the same day next week.  Then we went to Tillamook Creamery and took a self-guided tour and ate some cheese samples.  They have built a new visitor center since we were here in 2008
