9/6/18 - Mt. Ranier National Park, WA

Jim went closer to town to get cell reception to conduct more business this morning.  I will be glad when this finally gets resolved and we can concentrate on doing other stuff.  I stayed at camp and cleaned the Casita again and watched some TV.  He left the generator on while he was gone.  When he got back, we hooked up and left Yakima.  We drove the White Pass Scenic Byway to Mt. Rainier National Park.  We had been here years ago but we had approached it from the west.  We got a site near the entrance on the east side this time at Ohanapecosh campground.  It was really smoky until we got over White Pass.  After getting a site we went to the visitor center and picked up a map of the park and then walked around the 3 camping loops that are open.  They have most of them closed for the season.  This camp is among large trees and is rather dark all day.  Jim grilled burgers for supper tonight.
